Danyel completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology in 2013, specializing in child and youth counselling during her practicum. She has over five years of experience working with children and youth through a variety of circumstances and challenges. Danyel has supported clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem issues, bullying, family transitions, and trauma. She finds creative ways to explore emotional challenges and circumstantial difficulties with children and youth through the use of traditional and expressive therapies, such as play, art, music and outdoor activities. Danyel practices through a client-centered lens to create safety and encourage clients to be an active part of the healing process.
